SF MECCA IMMERSION
a "retreat' into the heart of the San Francisco tribal fusion bellydance scene, tribe, music and culture.
3 or 5 day options.
Come immerse yourselves in the music, culture, asthetic, and scene that is shaping the tribal fusion bellydance explosion worldwide!
Experience where it all began. 3 (or 5) incredible days of dance technique and training from some of your favorite teachers and performers, and the pioneers who have shaped tribal fusion bellydance. And meet the musicians too! Panel discussions. Exclusive vending. Hot night time events at some of our favorite local spots. …..
Plant your feet on the vibrant pulse of the bohemian bellydance underworld of San Francisco. See and feel how it inspires YOU!
This is different than a festival. This is an intensive, or immersion rather. An intimate group where you'll get individual attention, top notch dance training, and a rich community experience over extended days together.

Re: SF Mecca Immersion-- Registration Now OPEN!
Wed, May 21, 2008 - 12:16 PMyes yes!
maybe make it a mini HONEYMOON! :)
if you can, i suggest staying an extra day or two... it's always nice to walk around the city and explore. you never know how or where you might get inspired for your next costume, or musical choice, or dance move..
Also, just in case you didn't get enough dancing after 5 days...
there will be privates available from some of the Bay area teachers, and also regular weekly classes from some great teachers who are not able to be on the Mecca teaching roster this year but i would strongly recommend learning from. Perhaps you can catch their classes too!
