The Schooner D'sonoqua is a 45ft sail boat owned by James Bates, who lives on Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick, Canada. James built this concrete hull ship when he was 27 years old, and has used it to offer whale watching tours. Now at 62, he is ready to pass her on to loving hands.

Our mission is to cooperatively manage and sail this vessel as an educational tool, enabling sustainable travel toward a better understanding of community and cultural development.
