James emailed asking if I would be coming to Grand Manan when I return home to help him get his land ready for busy-ness this summer.
This is his place... it is like a little Peter Pan Neverland village: www.sailwithwhales.com/land.html#cabins
I can't see us sailing south this fall unless a lot more people show active interest in the project, and fast.
Maybe the best we can do is gather on James's land. Early in the summer is best. But we can gather there anytime... and you can stay there the summer and work exchange with James.

I have tentative plans to go to Canada after I get back (and who knows when that is) from west to east, but if it would work out I can do it in reverse. I´d love to come for a visit, and I have a lot of new friends to visit in Canada from my travels. -

I spoke to James, who owns the ship and land on Grand Manan, and he is looking forward to us having a gathering on his land sometime this summer.
I will keep promoting the ship project, but other leaders are need. Until others step up to help.... this will remain an idea. This will only work with people who are really motivated -- real action heroes -- leaders. It may take some time to find those people, but we are on the path... -

Sun, May 13, 2007 - 10:45 AMI cant seem to get out of Central America. How does July sound? Id like to go to the Rainbow Gathering in Quebec if possible, and to visit some other friends in eastern Canada. I am interested in the work trade program. I have to go back and look at pictures and read everything that has been written, but I love the look of the property and my sailing skills could definitely use a brush up.
