I can still hardly believe I could be so lucky that, during my long planned visit to Frome, the Uzume were coming to the same town and better still, were offering a workshop.

Now that I am home again and have access to the Internet, I would like to say 'thank you' to the Uzume for that wonderful three hour workshop. I enjoyed every minute of it even though I had to retire to the side to write myself notes rather than get in the way of the other dancers when I made my mistakes!

A 'thank you' too to all the performers on Saturday evening for putting on such a tremendous show. I took my daughter and both my grandchildren to watch and they all came away enthusing about the whole evening and especially the Uzume.

For those of you who have the opportunity to take workshops with them as they tour Britain, I highly recommend that you do go. You will not be disappointed. Not only will you learn lots, you will also find it great fun.
