Tournament Objective:
To win, through speed, creativity, knowledge, more points than any other school during a month-long challenge.
Tournament Definitions:
Challenge - A month long effort coordinated by a single school and consisting of 4 tasks.
Challenge Theme - The uniting impetus for the 4 tasks.
Task - A single competition consisting of 1 submission per school.
Submission - The agreed-upon entry for a task by a school.
Tournament Rules:
1) The winning school of the previous month's challenge will host the next challenge.
2) Tasks may be done consecutively or concurrently, at the whim of the hosting school, but all tasks must be completed within a month.
3) The submissions for each task will be judged and awarded points by the host school.
4) Judging and point determinations are at the whim of the host school, with the following limit:
4a) The total amount of points awarded for any given task is 100, but may be divided between or among excellent submissions (or not) at the whim of the host school.
5) Once judging and point determination for any given task is complete, all submissions will be posted in the appropriate challenge thread. All students may then comment, brag, or moan to their heart's content.
6) At the completion of all tasks, the points for each school will be tabulated and the winning school announced. There will be much rejoicing and merry-making.
7) At the start of the next challenge, all points will reset to zero. New Challenge, New Start.
