I was thinking maybe we should all choose a random other instrument to fool around with , and maybe incorporate into our shows on occasion. i have organized with "God" to lengthen days by half an hour to accomodate practice time. He agreed to put an extra 30 mins in, but played with time a bit so it still fits into a 24 hour scheme. You won't notice, but the practice time is there. "God" or Eric as he asked me to call him , also suggested that we make daily offerings of rice pudding on our windowsills, and listen to the crossroads album again as he thinks it has stood up to time pretty well.

Mon, July 25, 2005 - 9:48 AMThis 'god' character...in the form of a man? Better check credentials. I know a few Eric's and thay are pretty powerful but also prone to posing as epic, mythical figures. I once knew an 'Eric' who toured the east coast as "Ridwan-guardian of the gates of the earthly Paradise". Now granted 'he' made some great improvments in the quality of asphalt basketball courts-put some kind of soft bouncy stuff in the mix, shit, saved my knees!-but when approaching the said 'gates' he proceeded to turn everyone away unless they appeared exactly as 'him'. Funny, come to think of it I can remember the faint whisperings of Tales of Brave Ulysses in the background. OK, this is getting wierd...

Re: fluegelhorn
Mon, July 25, 2005 - 10:39 AMhmm. a most excellent idea. I shall concoct a stage persona that shall be named "Bilksy Buppins... He Who Plays the Magical Banjo". I shall incorporate Bilksy Buppins and his magical banjo into the repetoire as he sees fit. However, since "Bilksy Buppins... He Who Plays the Magical Banjo" does not appreciate, enjoy nor advocate competition, He will not participate until this fraudulent Eric character is exposed as the fraud he may or may not be.
However, I have been told that "Bilksy Buppins... He Who Plays the Magical Banjo" does appreciate the bonus 30 minutes. Kudos to Eric when kudos are due.
Also, "Bilksy Buppins... He Who Plays the Magical Banjo" does not condone those new strange cushiony playground materials. He believes they are indeed, wack and a sign that we are indeed the last days.
