Unless we can be guaranteed to have the quantity of people to justify the rent on a venue for a Friday or Saturday (estimate most peoples 6 months of rent on their house) I can't risk the financial liability of the costs for a venue. I've always said that things are a bit quid pro quo. You show up when we have an event, and I'll get us a better night. Had everyone on this tribe showed up Sunday I would have guarenteed us a Saturday night for next year.
What we will be doing is a somewhat private version of the Looking Glass party. Currently we're looking at mid to late April/Early may, and it will be a limited number of attendee's base don space. It will also have an open bar.
And yes, it will be a Saturday night.

Fri, February 16, 2007 - 12:19 PM*raises both hands* oh i had fun, yes i did. loved the dancing! i finally went with a friend, and we danced quite a bit of the night away. Waltzed, and while waltzing, i flashed the king (since the skirt was short enough that it happened anyways!), which i think was one of the best things about the night. i had a bundle of fun Megan, so thank you. and i cant wait for the next one!
