Okay - we take turns posting a Movie Quote, someone guesses it, and if they are right - they post one......
Any disputes will be decided by the Moderator or by mutual negotiation and agreement..
If the thread stalls for more than two days and the last post reverts to a date rather than showing "Today" or "Yesterday" with a time, then someone please jump in and post a new title.
When we hit 100 (ish) posts - we will start another thread.
Me first !
" Crude and slow clansman, your attack was no better then that of a clumsy child."
What movie is it from ?

B: Yes. Take two aspirin and call me in the morning. That's a doctor joke.
A: I'd like a report of all the incidents in the last six months. I'd like it soon, or I might just kick your nasty ass all over this room. That's a marshal joke.

Re: Movie Quote Game Thread No. 4
Thu, March 6, 2008 - 10:36 PMForgot to mention, this is a quote of a translation of the history of Prince Siddhartha who later was known as Buddha.
"Darkness" had tried to tempt Siddhartha, in the cleverest of ways, by disguising the temptations of life in the simplest forms but Prince Siddhartha was looking beyond form, beyond the present. Now "Darkness" was enraged, and sent an army of demons to try to attack Siddhartha, but he stayed calm and at peace with God and was defended by God because of his total Faith and the consequent lack of fear that such Faith gives.
His human body then said to him, "You who go where no-one else will dare. Will you be my god?"
Siddhartha said, "Architect. Finally I have met you. You will not rebuild your house again."
His human body replied, deviously, "But I am your house and you live in me."
Siddhartha said to lord Darkness, "Oh lord of my own ego, you are pure illusion, you do not exist. The earth is my witness."
Prince Siddhartha won the battle against an army of demons, just through "The Force" of His Love and the great compassion he had found. He achieved the great calm that follows detachment from emotions. He had reached beyond his "Self", he was beyond happiness or pain, separate from judgement, able to see beyond the human universe. Siddhartha had seen the ultimate reality of all things, he had understood that every movement in the Universe is an effect, provoked by a cause. He knew that there was no salvation without compassion for every other living thing; from that moment on Siddhartha was called "the Buddha" - "the Awakened or Enlightened One".

Mon, March 24, 2008 - 4:17 PMDidn't know the specifics - just sounded familiar and thought it might tie in with the Dr. Who thread you resurrected. Deduced, barely educated guess. Then I looked it up on imdb...which I consider a little like cheating. I will happily allow someone with the answer in their head to fill in the specifics...
