    According to Wikipedia, there are four places in the USA named "Welcome":

    * Welcome, South Carolina
    * Welcome, North Carolina
    * Welcome, Minnesota
    * Welcome, Maryland

    As best I can tell, there are no locales named "Go Away!"

      I think the state of Missouri would be considered a "Go Away!" state. Maybe more accurately. it should be called the "Stay Away!" state. It just creeps me out. That and most of New Mexico, especially Tucumcari (or however that hellhole is spelled).

      Wouldn't that also imply that Australian men are equally likely to have sex on the first date? Or are there quite a few lesbians in Australia?

      No, I just saw your message on the Extreme Honesty tribe and jumped right on the bandwagon. Over the past couple of months I've been going to a weekly trivia night at a local cafe and damn it, one of these days I'm going to win!!!

        Here's some toothy trivia. Not all humans are born with 32 tooth "buds". Because we no longer have use for our wisdom teeth, humans have evolved and now babies are born with 28 tooth "buds". Not all babies........but eventually, through evolution, it will happen.

        Does it not have something to do with water falling from the leaves - mother natures watering system ?

    my purview is useless rock and roll trivia. i did not choose the role, the role chose me, because i am an older person and i find there's just a lot of misinformation flying around out there about the music of my generation, which is the punk/new wave era.

    interesting former lead singers -
    1. richard hell was lead singer of television before they really hit it big
    2. howard devoto was lead singer of the buzzcocks before they really hit it big
    3. john foxx was lead singer of ultravox before they really hit it big

    i'm sure i'll think of some more before the coffee starts working.

      Ah crap, you welcomed me, that means I have to stay for a few days. Thanks a lot. ;-)

      I generally keep many tribes bookmarked, but I'm only active in a couple. And I leave tribes and join others. Keeping my active tribes in which I am a member of at about 4-6. The rest I read.

      But how could I resist the temptation of stone skipping? I've never been able to do that. I can do rock plopping though!

      I stand at the edge the lake. I find a good rock. I throw it. Sometimes it makes it into the water. It makes a satisfying !PLOP! sound, sinks, and makes (((ripples))). Cool, huh?

      Bet you wish YOU could plop rocks.
