Calling all aprentices!
Troupe Malek is signing on for six weeks (12-7 PM every Sat and Sun) as the belly dance troupe for the Ren Faire in Eminence KY. We will be sending 3 dancers each day that the farie is open. What this means is we need any willing understudies to be part of the fun. We will be taking the personna of a 1700's Ghawazee dance troupe from Egypt. We will be designing a more summer friendly Ghawazee costume and be learning more about being in the first person personna. This is a big deal and I am stoked.

Wed, April 26, 2006 - 4:25 PMI am going down to the site on May 7th to check out our dance areas and see what our schedule looks like. I will let you know the details as soon as I can! I would love to see as many smiling faces as possible out at the faire. I do warn you though I will pull folks out to dance!
