MiaNaja's next workshop will be March 3rd from 2-4 pm on how to set up a business (dance or otherwise) including LLCs, Sole Proprietorships, and corporations. Legal and tax implications will be discussed in addition to copyright of music, trade names and other issues related to intellectual property. Sample forms and documents will be distributed and we will look at important websites. Participants will have the time to complete forms to file with the State and IRS.
So if you want to establish a business presence as a dancer or vendor or in some other type of small business altogether, this workshop is for you! Attorneys can bill over $200/hr. to private clients, but this is information that MiaNaja really want to share with the arts community. Pass the word!
