I sure did wait awhile to do this, and hopefully my Gnomish mind can remember it all. For a faire we're not in costume we had fun, even for all the work.

From Me & Christina being the Won Ton Express on the trip up their and everyone trying kill us because we were in Evelyn's car to the return trip and walkie Talkie coincidences others had that alerted them of the massive traffic backup

From having both Marty & Ali being ill most of the weekend to Ali feeling so much better after honking his cookies in the brush

From Rob insomnia tour he seems to have every year at Fair Oaks to some hissy fits held by others who went with more sleep than Rob

From folks managing to break a urinal (I'm not really sure I want to know how they did it.) to the women having wonderful potty parties of their own.

From my chuckling every time I heard over the air "Tiny, Tim wants you." (It took forever for someone to figure out why I was giggling) To Michael getting to take over Ryan's job of busting Yellow shirts when one tried to sneak his friend into faire.

From Me & Ian almost beating up a Little kid to take his Millennium Falcon inflatable mattress to star wars lingo going on over the walkies during night patrols aka Red Five going in..

From Daniels group looking all Irish-y as they marched to the small world we live in in that my new business partner was one of those gate listed with him, who was gate listed with us and I had nothing o do with it too (heck didn't even knew she was going to the faire till that week)

From Tiny finding Daniels was a good walking companion as he's so pretty that Tiny's chances improved just by the numbers of da womenz dat stalked the elf. to Daniels astonishment of how evil Tim is to his poor wee gnomish ghillie. (Also I have since learned never ask Tim what you need to do to end your ghillie-dom when he's been drinking)

From Tim's making me cry about dissing my eye (Made a Rhyme) to the threat of the late night flash dance of Tim outside my tent

From the Church people making me almost become pagan with their tude towards us to almost having to body tackle a middle aged church lady who refused to stop for a check point

From the turmoil of crud that went on Saturday night to seemingly redemption on Sunday while Yellow shirts walked by while our illustrious leader making sure one of the patriarchs of faire was cared for.

From Ian being the only person who represented us in the wet boxer/t-shirt contest they had to the fact apparently he showed more of himself than we wanted to see (thank goodness for me being gone during this part, this year I'm not bemoaning missing the contest, so though it saddened me to not see our guild yayas on display (none of the ladies represented something about cold and water, no sure why they'd deny our guild a return title)

From Rob getting a new Axe for his birthday to the fact that Rob kept offering to use it for any problem came up (The OBGYN exam was a bit far fetched use for an axe)

From Ian getting a paddling on his Birthday to Rob's use of hickory that made a resounding and quite distinctive noise for anyone to hear. (I fear for Dwight & Christina as B liked spanking Ian to much)

From the Karaoke on Strand Night to those "Star Watchers" in the fields

From folks calling me Gnome and these people who've never met me before or seen me wearing the Gnome hat referring to me as such (I keep telling the guys it's a chick magnet) to learning the hard way to not drink on a empty stomach when your dehydrated.. oww that hurt.. but I still have not suffered all the ill effects of faire

From the start of the Flying Squadron to them really need cool names like Hairy Gomez and Ice Box and such (next year their talking bicycles with bells and baseball cards in the spokes)

From all the worries that were shared by us over the faire to folks complementing us on how safe and secure they felt and how smoothly the Sunday exodus went

Overall we've got plenty of positive feedback for our time in Fair Oaks with other gigs being offered just from that. For all the work it was fun, and thanks again to Daniel and his crew who not only represented the O'Neills well for this faire but provided us with the numbers on security that allowed such great coverage... as always I apologize if I forgot or remembered those things that folks want to forget (aka Mike's love of teabags). If you have a "From & To's" to add do so.. until later remember Gnome is where the heart is..
