And don't forget the benefits of using fear to control the public. We can't continue using war as the method of fear, so something new must be used.

But we do know from Scriptures that as the end times near there will be famines, plagues, wars, and an extreme amount of death. But, as servants of our Lord we do not need to fear any of this. If we happen to die, it is just a short sleep and then we will awake and be with our loved ones in the Kingdom.

part of the problem for us in America or other places with high standard of living-
no, of course it won't kill very many of us.
it will seems like any other flu to us

but in poor countries, it becomes a much more real issue, and that ends up holding true for the homeless and poor here.

it's good that health agencies are worried and doing what they can to get the rest of us to stop the spread.

does the US gov't blow it a bit out of proportion and spend to much money on false-prevention= probably.

us folks who live in the part of the world that can afford luxuries like the internet do get to sit back and watch this type of thing play out on tv,
but there are plenty of people even in this country who should worry about getting this flu

for example- most of us have probably never given tuberculosis a second thought- but every jail in america tests incoming inmates, and i know of one homeless man here in california who died of it before passing it on to at least one other person.

I can't really be against warning people of things that might kill them, or WORSE allow a healthy person like me to contract what i think is a minor flu , then i pass it on to one of my disabled clients and it kills them
