It's that time of year again! Dancer's Revolt will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 in the Barony of Roaring Wastes (Berkley, Michigan). This event is open to both SCA AND non-SCA members. For the past few years now we have had a wonderful turn out, a lot of interesting classes, and a great time at the hafla! There is also medeival period European dancing for anyone who is interested in that. If you are interested/available to teach any ME dance or music related classes, or if you would like to perform at the hafla... please leave me a message here, or you can contact me at honilynn@comcast.net.

Tue, November 4, 2008 - 7:16 PMA week and a half until the event! So far we have a zills class, a drumming class (or 2), a beginner ME dance class and a ME dance improvisational games class. Anyone else interested in teaching anything? Maybe veil or shimmies? We hope you all come out to the event either way... classes will start at 12:30 and each run about an hour. The hafla begins at 7:00(ish). The event fee is $5.00 ($8.00 for non-SCA members). There will be snacks and henna also! PM me for directions. -
