hi all,
i just found out about this group at the soj munch. i live in the north bay (northeast marin) and would love to meet other kinksters near me for "nilla" events though personally would prefer inexpensive to expensive cultural events (e.g. dance, museums, easy hiking perhaps).
i'm glad to meet y'all.

Re: inexpensive vanilla events
Fri, July 18, 2008 - 8:04 PMI think the way I read it before I joined, and mind you I just joined five minutes ago, is that a museum or play in the park where you could enjoy a vanilla good time AND socialize is all that's required. Doesn't have to be expensive, just leave the toys and play clothes at home in the secret drawer. I bet a renaissance festival or book reading would do as well. It is the "low-brow" not the inexpensive that is objected to. Nice to meet you. I'm not in your area but I'm V.

Re: inexpensive vanilla events
Thu, July 24, 2008 - 1:58 AMOne of the best sources of information about inexpensive and even free events is Goldstar.com, which makes tickets to theater, dance, and other cultural events available at prices that are really a steal. They sometimes have other deals too, like huge discounts on spa visits. It's well worth checking out!
