Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Tue, December 4, 2007 - 2:17 PMwhen uranus went over my ascendent and conjunct my sun i moved to california.
big changes.
i don't know about the sextile - i don't remember anything in particular about it that stood out. it will be coming up to square the sun next year. that should be interesting.
sextiles are usually a more gentle easier transit, offering opportunities and excitement. -

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Sat, December 8, 2007 - 5:54 PMTheory:
The 1st Sextile transit of Uranus to Sun before the time when it conj.
Maybe you start to see a future change, but not embody it yet.
As the conj occurs marks the time when you do start to embody the change, become a “different person”.
Then the 2nd Sextile after the conj. might mark a time of a.. sort of courtesy call from Uranus, “Have you fully developed you new Identity” ?
Just takin’ a shot in the dark…

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Tue, March 11, 2008 - 6:44 AMmy girlfriend is going through this as well... t.Uranus conjunct n.Sun (with a Solar return)... it seems as though "I" act like Uranus for her... her natal Uranus is in her 7th House & Libra and when we got together t.Uranus was conjunct her n.Venus... she has both n.Uranus and n.Pluto in her 7th House and its pretty hard for her moon in Taurus comfort factor...
i think all the self-transformation stuff im into freaks her out a little, she seem frazzled when i go on and on about Timothy Leary and C.S. Hyatt...
this is a tough one because although she seems attracted to the "URANIAN" type "we" also overwhelm (if not flat out bug) her... -

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Tue, March 11, 2008 - 7:30 AMSun conjunct Uranus has run over his natal sun and is in his 6th house of working environment and health and inconjunct his natal uranus in 11th house of friends.
He has a very strong constitution with a stelliun in Capricorn, so shocks may be well absorbed although it does not mean that changes are not happening.
Any insights?

MY:
n.Uranus is 13deg Scorpio in my 10th state (transiting my 2nd state) n.Uranus conjunct n.Pallas, square n.Mars, semi-sextile n.Neptune
t.Uranus square n.Neptune and Juno, trine n.Pallas
HER:
n.Uranus is 22deg Libra in her 7th state (transiting her 1st state) n.Uranus sextile n.Juno and MC, (also) square n.Mars
t.Uranus conjunct AC and n.Sun, sextile n.Moon and Mars, square n.Saturn-Ceres-Juno and MC, trine n.Pallas
T.Uranus (for all) conjunct Sun and sextile Jupiter… How do y'all see the role of the Uranian force, as it is currently behind the Piscean style? -

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Fri, March 14, 2008 - 11:40 AMits interesting that altho she's having such strong uranian transits, you dont seem to have uranus prominent in your chart. would you describe yourself as uranian? when did you guys start your relationship?
and is she usually non-committal in rel, having her natal uranus in the 7H? -

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Fri, March 14, 2008 - 12:23 PMI seem to be quite Uranian... when I first started looking into astrology I was astounded by the accuracy of my n.Uranus placement… 10th state Scorpio hit the nail on the head (and the natal square with Mars-7thstateLeo was a symbolic alarm clock that woke me up to a not-so comfy FACT)… we started dating on my birthday 2006 and became very close very fast… dating is probably not the word, it was like instant relationship… I would say she is the opposite of non-committal, but for reasons I would rather not post out in the open…
(Her Pallas is conjunct my Uranus/Pallas)

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Fri, March 14, 2008 - 9:15 AMI was born with a Sun/Uranus conjunction, which sort of makes me an honorary Aquarian even though I'm a Gemini. The standard cookbook definition of Uranus transiting the Sun is almost always change of some kind. It's important to figure out how many times it will be in conjunction to your Sun, and to use that to time what can be a significant time of your life. For example, if someone has the Sun in 18 Pisces, they have Uranis transiting their Sun this month, but should relate it back to July August of 2007, when not only was Uranus transiting that degree, but the degree was being opposed by the eclipse that occurred at 18 Virgo on Sept. 11.
It should also be related to what was going on in your life the last time Uranus SQUARED the Sun, which, if you have an 18 Pisces Sun, would have been in December of 1985.
Occasionally, Uranus on the Sun means change in the life of a male figure you are close to.
Equally as powerful (in my opinion) as a transiting Uranus on the Sun is a solar eclipse on a natal Uranus.
As for Uranus sextiling the Sun, Uranus tends to define your self-expression, or your need for it. Sextiles frequently manifest on a mental or mutable plane--new ideas, new ways of seeing things that influence larger arenas of your life. Uranus being the higher octave of Mercury, this is probably more noticeable in a student's chart. However, as we are all students of life, it does not need to literally manifest as a new study. As the Sun rules the male principle, you may find yourself gaining greater understanding of either a man in your life, or your own animus.

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Tue, May 13, 2008 - 1:54 AMI wonder about natal Sun-Uranus aspects as instilling Aquarian qualities on the native. I was also born with a Sun/Uranus conjunction (Scorpio) but I still feel that I'm very different from the many Aquarians I've had the pleasure of meeting in life (my descendant's in Aquarius).
It's strange though, that Uranus-Sun transits make me "feel" aquarian - in a way I don't experience with my natal conjunction. It's almost to where I instinctively know how it feels to BE aquarius, as though I've been put in "Aquarian shoes" for the brief amount of time these transits occur...and I love it becuase I really do feel a major release, to where I stop caring what people think about me and I feel much more genuine and relaxed with myself. Like a huge monkey off my back.
Makes me think it'd be awesome to be natal aquarius. I only wish natal Sun/Uranus conjunction made me honorary Aquarius. -

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Tue, May 13, 2008 - 6:42 AMNed, you probably have a lot of "latent" Aquarius in your chart. Themes in the natal chart tend to repeat themselves. For example, I have no planets in Aquarius, but a stellium in Leo--which puts me on the Leo/Aquarius axis. Leo planets frequently manifest on the Aquarian side of the axis. I also have a pre-natal eclipse in Aquarius. The Sun/Uranus conjunction is another manifestation of the Leo/Aquarius axis since the Sun rules Leo and Uranus rules Aquarius. So a Sun/Uranus conjunction in ANY sign is going to have that natural manifestation.

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Wed, May 28, 2008 - 7:02 PMI have both my Sun and Ascendant at 18 Pisces. I'm currently in the process of selling everything I own, leaving my job, and moving out of the country. In December of '85, I had just quit my (then) job and made a life-changing move across the States to get married and start a family. There are many similarities between then and now, and I've thought on that a lot lately. I feel that this place is at a higher evolution than the changes that took place in 1985. -

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Thu, May 29, 2008 - 8:39 AMI was responding to Michele's post dated March 14, 2008 (I tried to post under her comment, but my post ended up at the bottom — sorry for any confusion). She provided an example for someone with the Sun in 18 Pisces. She also mentioned that things happening now should also be related to what was going on the last time Uranus SQUARED the Sun. For an 18 Pisces Sun, this would have been in December of 1985. -

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Fri, May 30, 2008 - 1:27 PMI think the lesson with all of it is that no transit happens in a vacuum or happens without being connected to previous transits. If you look at the phases of the Moon, you realize that the lunar phases are templates for other transits. You don't just look at Uranus transiting a conjunction to your Sun; you look at when it squared it and (if you're old enough) when it opposed it. This is just like a New Moon, a first quarter Moon, a full moon, and a third quarter Moon.
This is excellent practice for unlocking and observing the themes and patterns in your life.

Re: Uranus transits to Sun
Tue, August 5, 2008 - 12:01 AMIts very insightful Michele.
I am 28° Aquarius rising. And I had Uranus entering my first house in 2003.
My Moon is 17° Virgo 7th house: not necessary to say more: everything feminine changed last year.
Now as Saturn also approaches my natal Moon, Uranus will be in square to my 24° Saggitarius SUN. In a few months, both Saturn and Uranus are conjunting and opposing my natal Moon and then both squaring my natal Sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cant remember when Uranus conjunted last time my sun: I was 4 years old.
I sort of remember that my appearance was then very different and I was an unconventional child.
In 2001, when Uranus was near rising degree it sextiled my sun: I had my spiritual awakening and I change professional aims that I havent yet manifested.
What do you people think this change will be? Uranus will square froim first house my tenth house natal sun.
I have a huge desire for a couple of years to change job (I was having Pluto conjunting sun!!)
And in the next two years Neptune will now enter my rising degree.
Should I travel ? (I am living abroad at the moment) Return to natal country and live a different life with my companion? Jump into an unexpected job abroad in a new country? Do something crazy like going to live in a commune for a year? Or go into the safest path of a known job with just a small change?
Could you please give me some more insights and details on this :) Light and Peace!
