A Call to witches, faefolk, friends of faeries, freaks, mutants, and magick beings of all Genders:

The voices of the Ancestors whisper of the returning rule of the Sun. Can you hear them? The warming stones of the Earth, the quickening Winds, our communal hearth Fire, and the flowing Waters all speak to us now of its warming light. The winter has relinquished its grip here. Its icy hands have pulled back from this fertile crescent to reveal a land lush and green, and eager to feel your presence.

This is an invitation to come home. A sacred ritual steeped in memory awaits you. This is the time to dance, walk, laugh, cry, heal and love between the worlds that we know. Now is the time to gather together with friends, lover, sisters, and brothers to celebrate and revel in the sacred union of God and Goddess and in the Oneness that we all share.

In this we come together as a community and weave our Magic in the dance around the Maypole. Acknowledge the affects and influences of the energies and magic you work with and allies you call upon in this Sacred Space and in your life in the coming year.

What is your Magic? What do you bring to the dance and to your community? What will you leave behind? Do your intentions resonate with the highest good of all? Let us all gather together in Love for the good of all and harm of none.

Registering early helps us order items in advance, keep the costs down, and also how many to plan for. Pre-registration plays a poignant part in preventing piss poor planning and petty performance. Help this gathering flow more smoothly; email us the information on the registration form, or print it out and send it to us with a check. Let us know you're on your way.

The suggestion donation is 35 dollars per person per day (more if you can, less if you can't, and no one turned away for lack of funds). This includes your food, propane, and the costs of hosting the gathering and maintaining the land. Everyone should come expecting to contribute energy and physical labor.

***IMPORTANT***Nomenus does not have the money to seed the Beltaine gathering - which is usually around $2000 for the initial food order before the gathering; This means We need to create the seed money, and also make this a successful fundriaser for our Sanctuary. This happens thru fundraising, pre-registering, bringing money, and whatever else you can think of. Please help make this gathering successful.

The Gathering will begin Thursday evening with a Opening Circle/Ritual. Each day will include an Information Circle after breakfast and plenty of time for workshops and smaller circles. Potential events include Heart circles, ritual planning circles, Know Your Talent show, and other ways to plug into the Beltaine magic. We will be collectively creating the Beltaine Ritual, so please bring your part of the whole.

Magic & Ritual:
The Opening Ritual will cast the circle and create the container for the Beltaine gathering. You are invited to clarify both your individual and communal intentions for this Gathering before the gathering starts. Arrive Ready!

What to Bring, What not to Bring
What to bring: a tent, tarps for your tent, sleeping bag, flashlight, warm clothes for chilly nights, warm hat(s), raingear, sunscreen, towels, biodegradable shampoo, a toothbrush and toothpaste (again biodegradable), pumps, your razor if you want to shave (it's not safe to share), books and pictures of faerie lore, fabulous outfits, drag to share, drums and musical instruments, tarot cards and tools of magick, high heels in your size, extra floggers, cuffs, leather, furs, lace, poetry, a workshop, a vision to share of what you want this Beltaine community to be/look like/feel like, heartsongs, a sense of humor, a number for the talent show, a clearly divined Intention, and your best fabulous faerie friend.

Please keep in mind a few items that you should please NOT bring with you to the Sanctuary:

Please NO:

-Speed, Heroin, or Cocaine of any kind, not even in your car.
-Violence or Intolerance
-Pets. [Please don't bring your animals. Please do not make us ask you to remove your animal from the sanctuary.]
-Alcohol or Drug Abuse [please keep alcohol clear of common areas. If you choose to drink, be responsible and don't be a mess.]

Be responsible for all the items you bring with you to the Sanctuary. If you pack it in, pack it out, and please leave your camping space in a better condition than you found it.

Special Needs space is for faeries who require an indoor sleeping place, and is very limited, so call ahead and let us know of your needs.

We need YOUR help!
The Kitchen is the heart and hearthstone of the Gathering, and we need kitchen-wise faeries to step into their power as High n' Holy Kitchen Witches. Gather together some of your faerie friends to help, and treat your community to a show of your kitchen mastery.

Just give us a heads up so we can start coordinating meals for the gathering.
