Virgin Dude looking for RIDE SHARE

Yesssss, it's my first Burning Man, and Im pretty much excited beyond belief, Im camping with some friends(Rock Star Orphans) and Im looking for a ride to that camp and back home again to SLC. Of course splitting the gas and whatever else is agreed upon.
I have a mountain bike, 2 storage bins, a cooler, water,1 lrg suitcase ( thick -n-furry costumes) , and 4 sleeping bag type bundles.
I will listen to my Ipod and try to be un intrusive, i don't want to try to use your shower or toilet, just the ride . If you would like to shave a chunk off your expenses, please let me know @ dono6@comcast.net

I have had personal dealings with this person and it is my opinion that his interests rests solely on how much money he can get from you. This person, although may be a great addition to the Social Work feild and gay men in general, however, in my interaction with the man, he has proven that he can not keep his word.
When I 1st went to see the therapist, I was reccomended by Clinic 1A, as he has proclaimed that Ryan White insurance covers his fee. While this may be true or not, his office threatened to discredit me with a bill for several months (the bill was for the remainder of the costs not covered by Ryan White Care Act) and he would not re-schedule another appointment with me after the first time.

MY VOTE is only one but being of a forgiving nature, I cant help not forgetting that if you are HIV Positive and have troubles on your mind, use your Ryan White benefits elsewhere.

Scheduled URF Gathering

WHERE: Mystic Hot Springs (www.mystichotsprings.com), 150 Miles South of Salt Lake City, Monroe, Utah. The Indians that were in this area were nomadic bands from the Ute, Shoshone or Piute tribes. They would make their camps on the warm ground near the hot springs. They would soak in the hot pots for warmth and comfort. It is told that the Indians would paint themselves with the red mud to keep them safe. Later as the settelers arrived the hot springs became popular as a resting place along the "Old Spanish Trail".

Homesteaded in 1886 by the Cooper family, Mystic Hot Springs (formerly known as Monroe Hot Springs) has had good and bad times through the last 100 years. During the early part of the century a collecting pool was made of wood at the bottom of the hill. Soon a dance floor was added and people would come from miles around in their horse and buggys to dance and soak the nights away. Their motto "The home of mirth and merriment" still rings true today.

Camping is $15.00 per Person (soaking included)

RV hookups $30.00 per site for 2 people (includes soaking)
$3.00 electric $3.00 sewer

KAN'NAL and Proposed Gatherings

Kim and James sneaked me away to Monroe, Utah (150 miles South of Salt Lake) on my Birthday (wow big 39) to a camping resort. The band playing was KAN'NAL ... A mixture of melodies and styles - this upcoming band is on tour and will be in Salt Lake City at two locations on Agust 4th. If you want to attend and can not afford the entry $10 ... lemme know.

As for a proposed Gathering, I got a good feel for Mystic Hot Springs ... camp identification is worn (Beaded Hemp rope), Natural Mineral Hot Springs pools over into big white tubs with mineral depositis drooping over as it emits from the ground .... the "soaking" area as it is called is 2 huge concrete pools and 8 individual tubs in an amphitheater design overlooking the three pools crossing over each other (like a tepee) representing, the past, present and future, where as dusk falls, the exciting flares and flashes of Fire Dancers stream the darkness, an enticing experience.
We (4 of us) camped in a 6-man tent amonst the largest tent-city Ive seen in my life, mostly str8 folks but faeries nonetheless. There is a leash rule for dogs but they were also (the numerous dogs) running around and getting along just dandy ... hehe.

"...I discovered the existence of an underground in the United States. The only factor missing is that no laws exist against its function nor is there official persecution and prosecution involved. This underground only occasionally intermingles in part with the world of business, science, politics, academia, and the so-called arts. Furthermore, it definitely is not limited to the United States, but infiltrates all of Western civilization.

Many people may have heard of it vaguely or casually have come in contact with it, and passed it off as just people with queer ideas. For one thing is usually certain: members of this underground who are respected in their communities don't talk about the interest or beliefs that qualify them for membership unless they know you too are in the club. They have learned from experience that to be outspoken brings censure - from their ministers, customers, employers, or even friends.

I suspect the membership may run into the millions - if all would admit to their qualification. They are found in all walks of life: scientists, psychiatrists, physicians, housewives, college students, businessmen, teen-agers, and at least a few ministers in formal religions.

...

Who, then, makes up the mass of this underground? Contrary to what one might expect, they are not merely a conglomerate of silly, uneducated, superstitous, unreasoning misfits. True, some of the like are included, but no greater percentage than is found in the general population. As a matter of fact, if it could be surveyed, it is quite probable that their average IQ would be far above that of a general cross section of Western humanity.

The common bond or cause that draws them together is simple. All have a belief that (1) man's Inner Self is neither understood nor fully expressed in our contemporary society, and (2) this Inner Self has capabilities to act and perform mentally and materially to a degree unknown and unrecognized by modern science. These people whose prime avocation is to read, talk, think, discuss, and participate in anything "psychic" or "spiritual." This is all that is needed for membership. Perhaps you are in the club and didn't realize it."
