Who: JILL PARKER is an international, award winning instructor,
choreographer and director. Jill is the "Mama of the modern tribal
fusion belly dance movement", an original member of
FatChanceBellyDance, director of Ultra Gypsy, DjunDjun, The San
Francisco Foxglove Sweethearts & a frequent collaborator with Theater
Flamenco. With over 2 decades of experience, she has trained many top
dancers in the genre. Jill's big heart and deep love for this
intoxicating form shine through in her classes and performances. She
is an exceptional teacher with a knack for demystifying this sensuous
dance making its techniques accessible to new dancers, while offering
tremendous insight for refinement and breakthrough to advanced
dancers.
Workshop: Ooey Gooey Slow & Slinky & Bah Blam Combos! We'll start with
technique/posture drills, move into slinky gooey movement quality with
a focus on full body integration, extension, form, shape, expression,
then we'll take it up a notch moving into stylized combinations
galore!
Who: ZAFIRA was voted Zaghareet Magazine's Troupe of the Year in 2007!
Zafira performs opulent vignettes that combine bellydance with
contemporary ethnic dance forms. Guided by the mood of the music,
Zafira draws the viewer into each piece by shaping rhythm and melody
into gesture and form. Liquid movements, staccato accents and textured
choreographies capture a timeless beauty that expresses both

Locks, Combinations, Signature Zafira
Stylization's, Fancy Footwork. Saucy, evocative, musical classic
Zafira Combos that are at the core of their "steal you heart" style of
belly dance. Bring a note pad and yoga matt for a brief warm up.
