hey folks, i know it's pretty short notice but here are details regarding events happening tomorrow, thurs and friday before the festival weekend:

wed july 12
Day 1 of the Festival Road Show - we have a 5ton flatbed truck that will be going around the city and stopping at different locations, a band magically appears on the back of the truck, plays for 15 mins and then takes off before anyone can even blink an eye! today, the NO LUCK CLUB will be going around creating havoc! keep your ears and eyes open

free concert in Grandview Park, a partnership with CBC, the Van. Folk Music festival and Britannia. this starts at 4pm, 4 different groups will be performing with guest hosts and surprise guests. runs til 8pm (on the bill, TOFU, Tanya Tagaq and Ganga Giri)

following that are our two shows at Rime, each show is $10
the early show presents dub poets Clifton Joseph and Lillian Allen, 8pm
the late show is Afrodizz, 11pm

Thurs July 13
Day 2 of the Festival Road Show with Afrodizz going around

two shows are Rime , each show $10
early show 8pm Duo's - Salt, Bethany & Rufus, and Ndidi Onukwulu and Madagascar Slim
late show 11pm, Night of the living improvisors - GaGi, Supergenerous and guests

Friday July 14
Day 3 of the Festival Road show with Ganga Giri
the festival weekend begins in Jericho Beach Park!!
