I'm going to be ducking early this week, so I can hit an audition for the giant five ring circus... and Chris has other plans, too, so I won't be hauling the usual gear.
Can someone else bring a stereo? Dave? Anyone?

Re: Saturday Circus May 30 - alternate sound supplier?
Sat, May 30, 2009 - 11:16 AMHi Christa,
I'm heading to Trout Lake to give it a spin. I expect to have so much fun hooping on the grass that I won't make it to Robson Square. At the risk of disappointing other Saturday Circus members, perhaps the hoop jam will better fit your busy schedule, and leave you off the hook for bringing music and extra toys.
Hope to see you there, and everyone else too!

Re: Saturday Circus May 30 - alternate sound supplier?
Sat, May 30, 2009 - 7:42 PMOh, how I wish Trout Lake hoopings happened on Sunday afternoons!
I have waterpolo Sat and Sun mornings, so going pre-Circus doesn't work so well... and we've done such an amazing job of making VAG the known place-to-go for Saturday afternoons that this afternoon the sixth and seventh person on site were newbies who came down in search of good circusy fun!
Anyway, I had a good time for the hour I was there, and then had an AMAZING time at the auditions for the Olympic ceremonies (they're still looking for bodies, if anyone wants to get an application in).. so I'm glad that I did what I did :)
Got to meet a couple hoopers from Squamish and Whistler, and remeet some Victoria folk, and the number of people who included "I'm currently learning to ride the unicycle" in their skills was pretty funny!
Hope you had a blast on the grass!
Oh, did you know that there's now more shade at VAG? The vans have been moved, so we've got tons of tree shade and space right from 2pm!
X.
