Hey gang !!
Long time no tribe.net for me.
Hope Y'all are well and happy.

Does anyone know the cheapest place to get

160 p.s.i. and 3/4 " tubing ???

The last roll I bought came from Rona in Bnby, but they don't have it anymore.

And Dave ....... could you give me the specs for the white tubing you had used. It had a harder surface. I think it was also 160 and 3/4" ???

Great to see hooping well and alive in Vancity.

See you at Carfree days ..... I'll be at the live music stage with about 7 hoops. Really looking forward to Dustcover and Baked Potato

  • hi brendan!

is the live music stage at the commercial drive car free fest, or one of the other locations?

i'm sure someone else will have more info about the tubing for you, but i'll chime in with what i know.

vancouver irrigation has either 200psi or 160psi black tubing for about $45 for 100 feet (i think!). i've heard that they sometimes have 160 and sometimes 200. i think it was 200 when i went.

the white tubing (superpex) is very similar to the 160/200 in weight and stiffness, but i believe it's rated at 100psi. i'd have to check the roll i just bought when i get home. i'll have to check the price as well, but it is available at rona and home depot in different lengths (10 ft, 20 ft, 50 ft or 100 ft.)

i haven't been to andrew sheret in a while. they might have the same tubing.

maybe see you on sunday. i will probably be at commercial drive car free fest most of the day - maybe main street for a bit.
    • Thanks Dave,
We're having a hoop making party, on Saturday, at a friend's place over on the north shore.
If someone gets the roll on time !!

Hope to see you on Sunday.
      • p.s.there are 2 acoustic stages on the drive,

and a trbal harmonix stage dj stage on the drive

and a "main stage", with some great local bands right in Grandview Park, all day.

My friends Baked Potato are the last band to play.

Last year we had about 12 hoops at this stage all afternoon. But I think there were more hoopers close to the TH pys-trance dj stage.
