Nick Woolsey of PlayPoi will be giving lessons in Vancouver, starting next week. There's a beginner's series, and an advanced workshop.

Sat, July 5, 2008 - 1:06 AMAnd take it from me, Nick's skill with poi is simply mind-blowing. I don't know if a non-poi-spinner will catch all of the incredible things he does, but even still, he creates moving art. Sacred geometry, even (as he refers to some of the shapes he makes).
If you spin poi, please do not miss the chance to learn from him before he leaves Vancouver again! -

(is Nick aware of the construction happening down at Robson Square? it might not be available as a rain-out location...)
