I make truffles (in the midst of 5 batches as we speak) what kinds of vegan truffles do folks like?

due to a limited number of people who know how to make good vegan truffles this would be a good thing to know soon.

This place is awesome! It's here in Pittsburgh, PA.
It's a cupcake shop. It's not all vegan...but, on Wednesdays they offer a vegan almond cupcake with chocolate ganache on top!
On Saturdays, they offer a vegan chocolate covered cherry cupcake, with real chunks of cherry in it!
They have been very accomodating to us vegans, and are really awesome about offering us vegan flavors!

If you live in Pgh., or will ever be in Pittsburgh, you should definitely buy some of their cupcakes!

vegan smores

I had never had them until sometime last year, and they were soooooooo good.
Mmmm...I'm craving some vegan smores.

Really yummy, natural graham crackers are hard to find (vegan). A lot of them have honey in them, or don't taste too good.

Any suggestions?

The vegan version of Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream rocks my world!

I'm talking about Soy Delicious' "Purely Decadent" Peanut Butter Zig Zag.

It usually has HUGE chunks of peanut butter cup in it, soooooooooo freakin' good!
Chocolate ice cream, with peanut butter cup chunks.

It's hard not to eat the entire pint in one sitting...I...Can't......Share!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best truffles

this website seems to carry the truffles but there is nothing about the ingredients.
The ones I buy at my local health food store (here in Toronto, Canada) are in a green box and they are about 9 bucks for 250 grams.
Which is pretty good for delicious organic truffles.
Not sure if your local store can carry it, ask them to contact the manufacturers.

I just moved to Seattle, and I am in heaven. My local grocery store has vegan mini chocolate chips (and several other vegan chocolate options) in the bulk food section! http://central-market.com/shoreline/shops/shops_bulk.html Can I live on mini chocolate chips alone?

Mocha Hot Chocolate review

Mocha Hot Chocolate (vegan, of course)

Yummy stuff! It calls for 1 T. of powder to mix with your soymilk, but I definitely recommend using double atleast, so expect to get 1/2 of the # of servings listed out of a container, if you like richer flavor.

review: "Large Belgian Chocolate Box" from Pangea

The main photo is "Large Belgian Chocolate Box" which I ordered from Pangea ("The Vegan Store"). Incase I change the main photo later, to see the product I'm reviewing, look for the caption which will say "Large Belgian Chocolate Box".

My review:
Once you pay for the product, plus shipping, plus a cold pack (I skipped the cold pack to save money), it gets to be expensive. But, I must say I loooove this box of chocolates. The big weird-looking ones in the middle that have nuts and yellow raisins on them look yucky, like they are just there to take up space and won't taste good. Don't be misled! They actually taste really really good and I was sad when the box was gone.

Anyone else have a review on this product?

Carob v/s Chocolate

A long time ago, I ate nothing but organic, healthy food with no processed sugar, artificial anything, etc...
It got to be too expensive, and I couldn't stand only eating carob instead of chocolate. One day I gave in and started eating what ever I wanted to again (as long as it's vegan, of course!), not to mention, whatever I could afford.

Most carob makes me mad and is not a good alternative for chocolate, it will never replace real chocolate in my life!
Plus, I keep reading about studies that have shown that chocolate is good for you, especially women.

But, have any of you found a few carob items that actually taste good?

I really like the Rice Dream nutty bars (ice cream rolled in carob/chocolate and nuts). I thought it was rolled in carob and not real chocolate, but I read the ingredients and it has both.

Any good carob items out there, that actually taste like chocolate? Not that I want to eat them, but other people might, hehe.
