4 Cups Water
1/3 Cup olive oil
1/4 cup Nutritional yeast
1/2 Cup minced onion
1/2 Cup Braggs liquid aminos ( soy type sauce)
1 cup Ground Walnuts
1 Tbs. Basil
1 Tbs. Cumin
1 tsp. Garlic powder or 2 cloves pressed or miced
3 Tbs. Sage
1 tsp. Thyme
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)
Mix together and bring to a boil these ingredients
Remove from heat and add;
4 Cups Quick oats
Set aside till cool enough to handle.
Knead lightly and form into patties onto lightly sprayed baking sheet..
I used an ice cream scoop and then flattened them.
I used parchment paper so they wouldn't stick instead of oil.
Bake at 350 degrees 15 - 20 minutes each side.
Makes about 75 smalls scoop patties
28-30 medium
Freezes well with wax paper in between patties

Wed, December 19, 2012 - 12:06 AMI think I'd try straining that recipe through Rosie O'Donnel's sweat pants after she ran a marathon just....to temper the taste.
I'm not that much of a vegetarian to try that recipe. -
