I bought some from Tesco! It was 'interesting' to say the least! I enjoyed the change, and although very filling , it was £3 a serving. There was a teeny fish shape bottle of soy sauce, wasabi sauce and pickled ginger! ...we need more exciting variety lunches like that, but how/what do you eat at work?

Re: Vegetarian sushi
Wed, May 6, 2009 - 7:33 AMI usually pack a lunch, but my lunches are often burritos, sandwiches (My two favorites being peanut butter and jelly or marmite with tomato and avacado). I also love to pack salads, and where I love sushi, I usually just make sushi rice, throw in shredded nori and veggies, and call it sushi salad. Tasty, tasty tasty.

Wed, May 6, 2009 - 9:40 AMOoh, tomato and avacado sounds good. I'll have to try that. Have you ever done an apple slices and gouda sandwich? That's quite tasty (if you eat cheese). -

Re: Vegetarian sushi
Thu, May 7, 2009 - 4:14 PMI know a woman who rolls up sushi (rice, avocado, a little cucumber, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds)
and leaves it in the burrito shape for portability.
Watching her eat a shiny black burrito was startling the first time- but it's brilliant! -
