With Venus in Capricorn we appreciate relationships that are defined and have a purpose, which ultimately fosters the achievement of a goal. When young, we often find ourselves comfortable with partners who are more mature whether in age or demeanor and as we age, we tend to prefer more youthful partners who we can provide for.

Overall we are not afraid to put considerable effort into the successful development of a relationship. The problem is passing our personal criteria, for we love the classic style of relating and often abide by traditional rules of order when it comes to dating like, "No kissing on the first date", "Make plans a least a week in advance", " Be prompt.", "Be Courteous", etc. At best we like the idea of a slow build and gradual progress of a relationship, it gives us time to understand what is being built and gives us the feeling of some control (something we love). Often we seem to radiate a stoic maturity that can appear almost melancholy but is a great appeal to people who appreciate our seemingly unapproachable air. We are not openly demonstrative but extremely loyal and often possessive of our partners.

Sexually, we are surprisingly passionate and appreciate a strong sexual rapport, potential mates should not expect sex to be given casually; pleasure alone is not enough, there must be a sense of purpose to truly engaged our more sensual side.
