Ok, Glenda mentioned this on the Hooping Tribe and I've been attempting but it's rough going as I've never even seen it done before (that I remember). How do you do a barrel roll while the hoop is on one shoulder in the vertical plane? I can do vertical plane one shoulder hooping and switch shoulders but this whole barrel roll one shoulder attempt is not working for me. How do I do this?! Even a textual explanation may help but if someone can just post a video of themselves or someone else doing it, I think I could figure it out from there. Or a tutorial. Please help; Glenda's idea is stuck in my head!

Re: One-shoulder barrel roll?
Mon, October 5, 2009 - 6:41 AMI know! I've been trying to get it but it just keeps flying off my shoulder...to better explain the move, I'm gonna draw a step by step thingy that depicts what I want to happen. To be posted soon. -

Re: One-shoulder barrel roll?
Tue, October 6, 2009 - 8:38 PMSame here; keeps flying off into the air or onto my head. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but it could have something to do with body placement....I need to video my effort to pick it apart!
