Big fun riding in the Cab last night. Vince is one hell of an entertainer... not to mention musician and nice fellow. Band is far more rock and roll this time round than at the Sweetwater in '06. I love the Fuzzy Little Hippie Girl song. When jokes started flying about about 2 girls, the next thing you the band was ripping into Surfing USA in a move that coulda been planned but coulda been spontaneous, it was perfect and hard to tell. Gimme A Stone really pulled on some heart strings with the added lines that started "From Blacksburgh to Baghdad..." besides being a reggeabilly wonder. Joe's Garage appeared in the middle of Kali ( I think). I love what they do with Lumpy Bean Pole & Dirt too. Vince later came out to make up words to a jam with Blue Turtle Seduction and then a ripping Watchtower (Vince on mando the whole way) with some more made up words that alternated between fun and politics. All in all a great night night in the Taxi.
