Caught a “ride” with Great American Taxi in Tucson last night and what a trip they took us on. Their music was an eclectic blend of rock, bluegrass, country, rap and Americana. The band sends out a lot of energy and Vince added some great improvisations to a few songs relating the unexpected adventures had on their travel to Tucson. Chad wailed on the keyboards, Jake did a great Drum solo to end of the nite. The whole band is really in sync with each other and played some energetic tunes all night. I am glad we hailed the Taxi, it was a sweet treat to enjoy them in Tucson. Don’t miss them tonight in Phoenix or Saturday in Vegas!

We're headed to an all-weekend party in Tempe in a few hours, will try to drag as many people from the party to the Goat's Head Saloon for another Taxi ride, then tomorrow night it's Major Lingo (an Arizona favorite who should definitely open for Taxi next time around). Let's hope there are no misadventures on Taxi's ride from Tucson to Mesa. Looking forward to another night of jams and improvs and seriously good music. ;)
