Streets Of Gold

Picked up a copy of Streets of Gold the other night and it has been stuck in car's disc player since the moment I popped it in.

Appalachian Soul -- about what happens when they tear mountains down looking for coal -- is as good a song as I've heard in a long, long time. Ride is a rocker with a message. All Cinched Up cracks me up. A fifties style boogie with a double ought style setting... "Too much Molly and I'm all cinched up." Been there done that! Kali does the reggaebilly celebration of one of our favorite plants. If Lazy John don't get you dancing then who knows what will. Lumpy Beanpole & Dirt is another one that's sure to cause a grin, and Vince's version of Wagon Wheel will surely have you singing the choruses at full volume.

All in all a fine disc. Check it out.
