<div>How did you all first land in a Vortex Class? I think these are always interesting stories... some people were actually doing something normal, like pursuing new and unique pathways of healing modalities, when they found Vortex... *some*... others, like me, had no clue at the time why they were getting into it... <br/> <br/>I was working at Omega that summer as a staff volunteer and had sent out the intention to the divine that my one workshop that we get 50% off of as staff volunteers be particularly choice in its service of my highest good... <br/> <br/>I was signed up, or maybe (i don't totally remember) I was about to sign up, for Donna Edens Energy Healing workshop... But rather than being satisfied with that choice, I was neurotically flipping through the catalog, tuning into divine guidance - asking, in regards to each workshop in the catalog - "is this the workshop that would serve my highest best interest if I attended?" because I was worried i was making the wrong choice. Obsessing; I really took my spiritual journey seriously at that point (now "taking it seriously" is something of a parlour joke) and actually obsessing to the point of a lot of distress - at different times different workshops would "seem" the best - it was as if there was a dialogue going on between different aspects of myself... and I was going nuts with the frustration of not having a clear "right" one... One of the choices was Vortex Healing, something I had never heard of and which claimed to be a divine healing art in the Merlin lineage... yet at a certain point I became so *exhausted* by my constant obsessing that I said "ok divine, I let go. You make the choice for me"... and the next day I signed up for Vortex... <br/> <br/>Some part of me rationalized that at least if nothing else it would be fun; it would be like hanging out with smurfs by the sound of it in the catalog. And listening to Ric talk about Yipa's that week, this is what it felt like at times... but something in that workshop rang true with an integrity that was based not on whether Yipa's were being discussed, or whether the material appealed to my intellectual mind. immediately something deep within responded. And since then Vortex has over and over again impressed upon me the depth of its integrity, an integrity that is always willing to meet my own divine intention perfectly; sometimes my frustration at not being able to dissolve a particular issue/blockage will itself dissolve in laughter, as at the moment I am willing to meet the process with full integrity and really "go there" in consciousness, Vortex tools rise to the occasion and help me move through things *always* amazingly quickly.... <br/> <br/>An interesting caveat to this is that I had already experienced profound healing through energy healing in my life; I was in a train accident at 18 and had had a landslide of health problems that led to me not being able to speak and with almost no neuromuscular functionality for about 5 years. It was through energy healing that I became healthy again. But even though the physical healing was a profound gift, there was always a small part of me that knew... physical healing is just a shadow of a deeper healing... <div>Welcome all fellow VortexHealers... please invite all of our fellow VortexHealer whose contact you have to join this tribe... <br/> <br/>The impetus for this really came out of wondering why there wasn't an online VortexHealers presence - there's certainly enough *presence* within the lineage... actually, a couple of days ago Ric sent out that e-mail that discussed issue realms and the way issues accumulate consciousness within them, and how we can release these accumulations - especially interesting was the group issue realms bit, and the potentialites this holds. After reading it, I thought - a group of VortexHealers, not necessarily in the same room, could coordinate on this sort of work to make it more powerful than just one VortexHealer in a room doing it. Naturally. In other words, we can keep going to Earthshifts, and also engage in world service through vortexhealing the other 362 or so days of the year. I think it would be really cool if this Tribe could be a meeting place for vortexhealers in disparate places to coordinate on such work, and to get creative about ways to do it. <br/> <br/>And I think this could be a great place to discuss our experiences with Vortex, and some of the cool things that have come about within the lineage, as well as the many profound issues that Vortex work directs our attention to, both inside ourselves, and in the world. <br/> <br/>So I'll kick off this Tribe with an informal induction for Merlin's blessing... <br/> <br/>and an invitation to all my fellow VortexHealers, to participate in whatever ways they are guided to... <br/> <br/>with love and grace, <br/> <br/>Lotus</div> <div> posted in <a href="http://tribes.tribe.net/vortexhealers">*-*VortexHealers*-* Tribe</a> - 1 reply </div>
