The same day as Paulina's workshop we are hosting the 2nd hafla of the year at EPICA. Doors open at 7, performances will begin at 7:30... our performer lineup thus far includes: Bellydance Flowz, Dunya Sol, Kirsten, Jorjana, Karma and Natasya. Food and beverages will be provided, anyone who has an interest in selling their crafts - please contact me!
Cost of admission: $8. Please come to support your local bellydance talent.

Tue, March 31, 2009 - 8:26 PMYes, I think so because May is such a hectic month with Tribal Fest, Memorial Day weekend, and I think someone mentioned another Ren faire taking place somewhere which is going to be all month long or something like that. So yes, I was thinking early June. Does that conflict with anything you know of? -

I'm planning a birthday hafla thingy but that would be on Sunday, not Saturday, so June 6 is fine as far as I know. (the birthday hafla may turn into something else... there was talk but nothing I'm going to share yet. I just want to dance on my birthday) -

Wed, April 1, 2009 - 10:55 AMThe fabulous Lee Ali will be teaching a 6/8 Rhythm and dance class at Dance Garden on the 7th. That's all for the first weekend, that I know of. They usually don't announce Punk Raqs til April or so. -
