It seems odd to me that Weeds' follow through, Californication, doesnt have it's own tribe. (especially since it's funnier than weeds) So I started one up just to have a forum for Hank's zingers.

Tue, October 2, 2007 - 1:05 PMWhat hooks me in about this show isnt the hot nekkid girls, the sleazy situations or the impecably timed zingers ...although I'm not complaining... it's that each of the main characters has a soul in spite of (or because of) their situations. I enjoy that the comedy is edgy enough to not be spoon-fed to me with a laugh track and is pitched dead pan. That Hank's sarcasm is frought with both apathy and daring anyone to give a shit in the same breath.

I could give a damn about what some X-Files reject is up to now. Give me my green, my Nancy pants, and some little boxes on the hillside, thank you very much! -
