Life has a tendancy to create circumstances beyond our control. Other times, we make decisions that take us onto exciting paths in our lives. Sometimes the significance of gaming - the comraderie, the excitement, the sense of accomplishment, and the creative outlet of role-playing is overlooked by other equally worthwhile pursuits. Many of our comrades have fallen prey to the rich and fulfilling opportunities in life such as marriage, children, and busy careers. And although we also prioritize these things, we're also equally dedicated to the thrill of the game!
Our crew has been gaming for the past 10 years. So, every Saturday - yes! I said EVERY Saturday, we get together in the spirit of fun to play 4th Edition D&D and we're looking for a few equally dedicated and like-minded gamers to join us. Currently, we are four seasoned gamers looking to enhance our gaming experience with 1 - 2 additional players. We are dedicated to gaming but not hardcore. We place emphasis on cooperation, being a team-player, and laughing... lots and lots of laughing! Think you might be interested???

Maybe that someone were hoping for is you. Maybe it's someone you know. Whatever the case may be, here's a few things were looking for in a new member of our crew:

#1 - Top Priority! To be able to game EVERY Saturday of the year! Granted, sometimes things happen we simply cannot avoid: weddings, birthdays, etc. But we strive to game every Saturday and rarely miss a single one. If your availability does not allow for your Saturday's to be free to game all afternoon long, this won't be a good fit for anyone.

#2 - Someone in their mid 20's to early 40's who is conscientious regarding the following: basic personal hygiene, basic social graces, a non-aggressive attitude, a well-developed sense of humor, a person of integrity, and an all-around laid back, easy going gentleman or gentlewoman looking to enjoy their Saturday with a group of like-minded individuals.

#3 - Someone who wants to have FUN!!! We game every Saturday because it's fun to laugh, joke, roll dice, and just be a gamer all day long.

#4 - We are focusing our gameplay exclusively on 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons. This is non-negotiable. Sometimes after a long day of gaming we'll kick back and relax by playing a boardgame or two, maybe watch a movie or play videogames (Halo and other first-person shooters are in-house favorites!)

#5 - Our meeting place is a residence in the Santa Clara area of northern California. The locale is approximately 45 minutes south of San Francisco or 10 minutes north of San Jose. On any given Saturday, we normally arrive between 10:30 - 11a.m. and game till 5 or 6 o'clock in the evening.

We're looking for those people that will really 'click' with our group. If you or someone you know would be interested in a trial run with us, we look forward to spending a Saturday afternoon of gaming, having fun, and getting to know one another. BUT should EITHER party become uninterested in continuing our gaming relationship, we will all agree to part amicably, and there will be no hard feelings what so ever. We are all gamers after all.
