I just had to post this because I had a very special Missy moment last night, and I didn't even know her (well, I met her once). When they played Missy's Heart, Chris (my husband, for those of you who don't know us) and I both turned to eachother and talked about how we've been feeling very strange lately about Missy. We have recently become good friends with some of Missy's very dear friends and we both realized that if she were still alive today we would have definitely become good friends with her too. We feel like we missed out on the oppourtunity, like it was derailed or something. This made us both a bit teary-eyed in that moment, because we were sharing this feeling and had never talked about it until then. But her spirit is so strong that I feel like I do know her through all of you. Yet I do still feel like I missed out on something grand. Anyways, we shared a toast to Missy after our moment and it felt really good to honor her that way. Thanks for listening...
