Your love is a Time Bomb

I found a poem of Missy's that I have been looking for since last January. It's the one the she recited at the Cotton Candy Castle. I always thought is was Rumi or Hafez. I was stoked last week when I was looking through Missy's poetry book and found the poem and words I longed to hear, and even happier when I discovered they were her words.

Time Bomb

Your love
is a time bomb
ticking,
bound to explode.
Even now,
as you are bound with chains
to money, and illusion, and desire.
One day,
my sweet,
You will be blown to BITS
with LOVE of everything.
Your torn bod's pieces
will stick to every bit
of heaven and earth,
and you will finally know-
It's all one thing!
because you will still exist,
even so far
from the form you once knew.

Sending love,
Annalee

    Thank you Annalee!

That was the most perfect day spent with family. It was also the last time many of the TX Tribe got to spend quality time with Missy. I'll always cherish that.

Thank you! That was my first time being in the same space as Missy and for that and other reasons, it was pure magic! I have often wanted to hear those words again, so I'm so glad you shared them with us.

    Heartside hugs!

This was one of my favorite poems she ever recited I remember every bit of it. I also wondered who wrote it and looked though books, including this weekend, to find it and never knew it was hers. That time in SF will be in my heat forever.
