I just wanted to mention that on 2/2/06 when HBR and Monsoon played in Nevada City I tied left over yarn from a scarf I made Missy around wrists... MINE IS STILL HANGING ON! 8 months later I know Angela still has hers on as well... anybody eles???

Every time I look at it I am reminded of her love and strength!

I have mine on our night light in the bathroom, next to the Bindes she use to stick on my mirror. I was thinking of putting it on and wearing it to Hawaii so she'd be there with us.

Yeah Jen! I had mine on till HS, then it was loose enough to slip off my wrist so I didn't want to lose it. It is hanging in my bedroom.

    Good idear Beth!

And thank you for doing this Jen, what a rememberance! Every time I look at it I think of Missy, you and NV City!

Mine came off long ago. It got really thin in a section and came off one day. Don't even know where it went.

I know Shawn still has his on. We were just wondering not too long ago who else still had theirs on. Glad to see there are still a few hanging on :-)

Mine has gotten extremely "threadbare" and I am always afraid to wear it because I know eventually it will break and I will lose it. I still wear it sometimes though when I am feeling down. It gives me a reminder every time I look at it that Missy is with me and I can be strong. Last time I wore it was at a Butter show and I just needed to have it on. I thought, well, if it breaks and goes missing while I am dancing wildly on the rail, Missy would be pretty pleased with that. I would like to incorporate it into another piece of jewelry so I can wear it without fear of losing it.
Thanks Jen!! Whoever thought a piece of yarn would be so special.

I took mine off for "safe keeping" but darned if I can find it. I guess that makes it all the more safe...? I'll have to look around home this weekend. Would love to find it and wear it in Hawaii (and maybe in Florida while I'm missing the Urban Melt).

        Thanks Jen! Miss you, sweetie!

Mine is next to my bed, in a dish full of amythest and other assorted stones that belonged to a woman I dated in college, who passed away prematurely, like Missy.

Some of you Chico folks may remember Megan Hudzic? I bet they are friends now;)

I am so glad so many of you held on to your bracelets... there was a pont in time where, selfishly, I wished I had held on to the leftover and knitted myself a scarf of it but knowing that all of you have valued that simple little bracelet as much as me means the world! I love you all!

Hey Jen. what did it look like?

If you can send me a photo of it, I might be able to recreate it, if you like....just so you don't loose the memory...

    Love you much,

    Magi

Got it still...and it's not going anywhere soon.
That HUGS video on You Tube that Gromf posted made me think of her...I cried...

MIne snagged last night and broke off. It was on for a little over a year and a half... kind of a trip. I'm glad it came off as it did because I still have it... I always worried it'd come off swimming or something and I'd loose it... but no its not going anywhere... pretty fitting as she is always beside me in spirit.

Mine finally got to the point where it needed to come off before it fell off. 1-1/2 years I wore it. It is now with the foot long braid I got cut off in Akumal 9 years ago.

That was such a great thing to do Jen.

          hugs to all...
