Can you post this document? If this provision makes it into the final copy, we really should have a talk with the people in charge about using and funding our program to make such contracts possible. It would also make that year-round director position more plausible.

I think it would be important for WEF people to retain control over WERC because we can't be sure that the University will keep fees fair, treat clients justly, and keep -all- of our practices as consistent with environmental sustainability as possible. There is also the question of whether University support would be contingent on altering practices which are important to us. However if these concerns can be assuaged, official University support for WERC would be a great help to the program, and more importantly it would give the idea of reusability and sustainability a substantial boost in credibility at other Universities and enterprises.
