Hi sandgropers!

Goodonya for setting up a WA tribe Leven. I'm at Curtin doing an applied chem PhD, hit the bookmark cafe almost every morning before the lab.

Perth is awesome, my Partner and I moved here 2 years ago from Scotland and we're totally in love with the place - those beaches, that ocean, all that fresh air, the cool afternoon breeze...just beautiful.

Whats going on in Perth...well for me its been quite a week, I just returned to Perth this week from a month in Europe - so far we've squeezed a few Perth things in, went to the cirque de soleil (what an incredible show that was!), visited the swan valley for some nice wine and food, destroyed my thighs at Indian dance class on Saturday followed this by watching the footy (good to see a change in the grand final this year, the cats they sure did well - I'm a rare find in WA - a Richmond supporter!) Taking advantage of this lovely spring day, I sneekily snuck today off Uni (it was too beautiful to spend in the lab) and cycled up the coast, topped the day off with a little gelati and espresso by the beach mmmm where else in the world could you do all of that in a few days? Any more Perth stories out there? :-)
