NOT HOT: Snorfelling

There's a new guy at work who has apparently not learned how to blow his nose. Sniffeling is bad enough, but this guy has something a little more heavy duty goin going on than a case of springtime post-nasal drip. It sounds downright chunky. It's really quite nauseating. And when he does a quick, loud, power snorfel, it can be startling (he's way across the room, too).

    there was this dude at the restaurant i was at last night who was doing that, along with a really wet, loose cough. didn't cover his mouth either when doing all of that. stuff like that just isn't protected by the snot guard at a salad bar, knowwhadimsayin?

        I forgot to mention the snorfeller at work also chuckles to himself over the course of the day. It's creepy Norman Bates kind of chuckle. So it's *chuckle* *snorfle* *chuckle* *snorfle* *snorfle* all day long.

    UCK I hate that! People do it walking by my office on the street and it is just disgusting. You can hear the consistency of the snot, if that makes sense. The thing is, it doesn't help anything either, you're making it worse sucking it back up there! BLOW your fuckin NOSE maaaaan!

    NO. just no, absolutely not. no snotting of any form shape or variety. don't sit there and sniff, but don't blow your nose in public either unless you absolutely MUST. go to the bathroom to do that. it makes me want to vomit. UGH UGH UGH. not hot.

    even worse: people who haven't blown their nose, and their BREATH smells like snot. ARRRRGH! so gross. i know you've encountered this.

      People who snorf should have a separate work-area, no? Belches, chuckles, grunts - all that shit adds up in the course of the day. Muttering. Argh. Why must some people insist on existing every few fucking seconds? Their weird pricey vapors disgust me enough as it is.

                So; I'm a little queasy, but I watched the fucker. Interesting because gross stuff usually doesn't get to me, but that was at least as bad as the one thing snout put up that time (with all the cutting), in terms of physical response. How about that? I'm still human.

                  i know people do this, but is it good for the soil or something i don't know about?
                  i like to carry odd things in my purse, and for years i had airplane barf bags (and a flight attendant friend to supply me) during the "partying years". they came in quite handy for myself and others. i never got it when i saw girls in a planter box throwing up, i was always weary of the backsplash i guess.
