August is Flamenco month at Safira's Center for World Dance. Events include: a free lecture by Shoshana Wernick, a former professional dancer, on Aug. 9; free classes on Aug 7 and Aug 10; and a workshop taught by Melinda Hedgecroth, a dancer from Sevilla, Spain, on Aug 21 - 23.
