Art Grants

Hi, Wickerfolks,

Does anyone know if Wickerman is still accepting applications for arts grants? I sent an email to the Wickerman address, listed on the website, but haven't received a reply. If anyone knows about available arts funding for the event, please contact me.

I'd like to bring a large-scale installation fire sculpture to the event. If such is not possible, I'll probably make other plans for that weekend, as lately, I feel a strong need to be doing something more meaningful than just partying and hanging out.

    Hi Mer,

    I'm pretty sure they're still accepting grants. They have a $4000 budget presently. I'm not sure why you've not gotten a response, did you email "art at wickermanburning dot org"? My suggestion is to call them at 814-784-3075 and inquire. Best of luck!

    i just saw your post, and emailed orren. i hope he gets back to you soon. i do know that they have been crazy busy in the office there. as far as i know there IS some art grant monies left, so i will keep my fingers crossed for you.

    I agree with you 100%!...and I can't stand the biting flies anymore.
    I think I'll stick with fall PDF (I can handle rain and mud much better than bugs)
    Rich and I are still thinking about going to Wickerman, but its certainly nice to know that there will be a familiar face there.
