************ Tribe Posting Guidelines Below ************
1. Non wildfire event posts should link to a tribe event or another tribe where further discussion about said event can occur. These posts should have [Non-WF] as the first thing in the subject line. All non wildfire event posts will be either WF community gatherings (ex. not regional parties, related to some other topic), teaching events, burns, or performance related announcements. There are other tribes for all the other things.
2. WildFire administrative announcements should only have replies posted that either ask clarifying questions or add information about the topic.
3. WildFire on topic discussions - these will be on a WF topic, where replies will either add information to the thread or ask pertinent information to help clarify the discussion. Examples: If someone is asking for people to help/volunteer, email directly to that person don't reply in the thread you are in. If people are asking for tool, fuel, or local advice, please direct them to the appropriate tribe in a private message (there are plenty for other tribes that are better informed then the WF tribe on these other topics).
4 - Any other threads should be put in the off topic WildFire tribe (tribes.tribe.net/otwf ). That is anything that does not add information or question on the thread topic or specifically about WildFire the event. This would include things like saying hello, that you agree/disagree but don't add anything new, a two way discussion with another post-er that has little if anything to do with the topic, telling us you are coming, and just saying how excited you are.

Any posts that don't abide by these guidelines will be removed. I HATE removing posts, but it IS in the best interest of the entire community to keep this tribe on topic. So please respect everyone and take all the off topic stuff to the off topic WF tribe. These guidelines are basic and simple, and really are like asking someone to not use their cell phone during a movie. Don’t stop posting or sharing your opinions, as it is through our diversity that we do make WF the amazing place it is.
