Nice to see a call so soon. There's quite a buzz about Samhain this year. Here in portland, I've heard a lot of conversation from people who want to help create and organize the gathering.

I even heard there was a call being written, to specifically call our elders and stories to our fire, and to set the container forth for this gathering. There are other pieces to be put in the call, as well.

I would like to see the gathering container more specified in the call. The call is the magical gate that we create, and it's important to craft it clearly and deliberately.

The dates seem a little stretched out, as well. It might be more difficult to sustain a 15 dayish gathering; in fact, the most recent one (a 17 day men's gathering 2 years ago, was a logistic mess and barely broke even.

Is the planning open to everyone? Are we co-creating the gathering?
I've seen an amazing synergy when we create it together.

I would like to see our gathering facilitation, creation, etc have an infrastructure where everyone has a voice or the option to participate in it's creation.
