JUNE 11: Kostana and Sidqi teach an Introduction to Turkish Romani Music & Dance at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD. This class will cover common Turkish Romani rhythms & music, & basic steps and gestures used.
FREE to the public as part of Montgomery College's World Arts Festival. 8:30pm-9:30pm. No pre-registration necessary!

JUNE 16: Kostana teaches a Turkish Romani Dance Intensive at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD. This class will include video footage of Turkish Romani dance from our Herdeljezi Festival. Kostana will break down basic footwork and gestures to traditional Turkish Romani 9/8 rhythms. 1pm-2:30pm.
Cost is $10 and will benefit the World Music Folklife Center. All proceeds will go to our 2008 Herdeljezi Romani (Gypsy) Festival Fund.
