Land Update: SN?? Is anyone on the land wanting to participate in the planning process? 3 people on land now: 1 definite wants to be at Beltane. SM???—who is on the land and who would be the pt of contact? point of contact-Earthen probably. P: Earthen expressd interest in wanting to know whats going on in Ptland—need someone to get in contact with earthen. Also need to get in contact with planning crew in SF. Def a need for people to go down early.

L: 1 imp thing someone could do early is dig a new parkinlot shitter!!! Tentative backhoe on the way (thru Acorn) but not positively. 6 ft cube. Beelzebub will fill up during the gathering & the compost isn’t ready to move. MDSQ: Other structural concerns L: Not many, can’t think of any.
SM: basic background context of seed $... cost, outlay for food/propane, $ takein, whats new and diff this year.
KO: check in about blding concerns… sink defuct in g house? dos MS want to check in?
L: gh sink “okay,” does need fix, bathtub drain is functional but might need to be checked out.
MS: limited time has 15 min, offers up $300 toward seed start, challenges trip

KO: some comm. with Zac Vamp Slayer—very little money from the church for gathering, prob. less than $1000. Best recollection is $2000 to start, large gathering paying for itself is $4000.
P: we need exactly $3500. SF is setting up a fundraising group, we need to generate bones
SN: ideas about benefit in PTland, wants to connect with SF as well, thinking dance party situation, $10 a head, location date time

a couple years we’ve had models for the hole we stuck our pole in! it would be good to have a model!
SN: what does that entail?
KO: during gathering, some people are drawn to get the pole, some people are drawn to dig the hole. last year there were 2 models, making the hole a bit more anatomically correct! (comm. on hole/pole relations foreplay entry etc)

Also, I helped manifest Spirit (the skull), I would like to see her on the top of the maypole again, aso open to a makeover, also on top of the maypole is tinker 2 whose intention has been manifesting on the sanctuary in a beautiful way… with both of them I want their intention to be looked at with intention

I just want to say that, as the person that took the above notes, they are *notes* which I will happily go over and clarify for folks if there are any questions. One reason I hadn't done so yet (or posted them) is that Nyna also took notes and was going to go over hers and mine and post here, I believe, as well as on Facebook (which I know nothing about).

Right now, I am the only human on the Land - can you believe it !?
This may be (knock on wood) the first night I have been absolutely alone here since Samhain!
But do not worry - there are neighbors of the friendly pentagrammy type on all sides that got our backs. And Mary & Tudra.
I will contact Stella to call in to the next meeting on thurs, because - although I am thoroughly busy with the many hats I must wear here at the sanctuary - I would love to help out with information about current situations on the land and also be a physical body, able to implement preparations prior to y'alls arrivals. K?
One more point of major interest for me:
The Shit Pit Proposal.
I was talking to Dusty Bobby - who has been learning about humanure, and we both agree that digging another pit for the shit would not be wise. Composting the shit above ground is preferable - so as to not taint the groundwater. The parkinglot - I might add - is the worst location for such a pit (although there is already one there) - because it is so near our well ! ! ! By the time of the meeting on thurs I may already have constructed an ornamental flower bed and shoveled out the N pit of Beelzebub into the bed - leaving this issue to be, hopefully mute. But what is also related: Water filtration. How many of us have experienced loose bowel movements during time on sanctuary and afterward? I believe this seemingly common experience to be related to the water and NOT due to sanitation. Sorry to complicate things - and thanks for your help.

well!! well?? I actually have no idea where the well is... so very enlightening this conversation!! Where is the well??
I (ahem) personally haven't dealt with the "loose bowels" scenario, but know others who have. What leads you to believe this is due to the water, vs. sanitation? (I'm sure there are strong arguments on both points... but i've seen far too many gyrls who don't wash their hands, know what i mean?...) But i'm curious about the "water" side as well, especially as i just got the memo/mailing from nomenus about going bleach free. Yay! Cleaner ground water!! But... encouraging new sanitation?? What are we going for here? I want to put an eye towards new dissemination of new "faerie cleanliness guidelines"... Ah, new postings in all the shitters!!
