Hello everyone,
It's been a busy year and I'm happy to say that I have some time off during the holidays to look through all of the Wolgemutant post, drink some eggnog and relax. It's great to see so many friends here on tribe and (despite all of the technical problems that seem to be happening to the site) I look forward to hearing from you all. How are you doing? What have you been up to? Are you in a good mood? :)
I wish you all the very best this holiday season and for the new year.
Remember, sei Wolgemut

Re: Seasons Greetings
Fri, December 14, 2007 - 10:52 PMGenerally I am in a good mood. Although I am trying to prepare myself for a Christmas in Alaska at my sister's house. You guys have any good ways to spend a 5 hour and 52 minute flight? I could use some help:) My laptop will only allow me to watch one movie on an unplugged round of battery power. -

Sat, December 15, 2007 - 7:08 AMHey Kim,
Hmmm, 5 hours and 52 minutes? That's a long trip. Personally, I take a book. These days I find I'm rereading books that I really enjoyed a few years ago and some classics (Huck Finn, Christmas Carol, Alice in Wonderland) and I hope to sink my teeth into some new books after Christmas. And when I'm not in the mood to read, I listen to music!
Have a safe trip and keep warm!
Servus!

Mon, December 17, 2007 - 6:52 PMIts great to hear from you. Glad you have a break and enjoy the merry holidays. Yea tribe have had some tech problems, many tribes have set up accounts, for free, on ning which is pretty much the same as tribe but looks different..just in case. I am doing good now, dancing my arse off as usual and learning new skills as i go. Planning on performing at an event in New Jersey in June..can't wait! And yesh we should of been in front of the stage dancing but i think it would have been a lil smushy..lol.
You and the rest of the Wolgemutants have a very safe and enjoyable holiday and new year and i hope i will see you and the rest of the caravan next year!!! XD
Ciao!

Re: Seasons Greetings
Thu, January 17, 2008 - 11:06 PMHello!
On Christmas day, Lucia and I played recorders with a group of drunken, wandering carol-ers.
Several of the houses turned off their lights and pretended not to be home. Some people peered through their curtains but wouldn't come out.
It was fun, but does not bode well for our musical success in this upcoming year. I guess some things will just never change.
Maybe Avatar's right - Maybe soprano recorders DO suck! (SURELY it couldn't be US!)
NONEtheless, "playing music" over the holidays was a blast.
Did any of you get to play any holiday music this christmas season?
Micha, any rousing renditions of "Away in a Manger" on Rauschpfeife?
