Mon, October 1, 2007 - 2:30 PMYes, the agrarian society easily understood references to farming and livestock. With the industrial revolution, most societies have lost contact with the land and with their own food. This makes these references hard to explain to city youth whom have never seen a garden, excpet on a food package in the grocery store. I see gardening as a wonderful tool for some urban youth ministry. -
