No one saw it coming because it makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE! It was a swerve for the sake of Russo having a swerve. Joe has been killing the MEM for the last several months (trying to stab and rape Scott Steiner are the two biggest moments and they also had Joe carry off Sharmell one night and the commentators made allusions to rape) and his final target was Kurt Angle (who he said he was going to kill because of his Nation of Violence) but then at the pay per view where Joe finally gets his hands on Angle (and as far as I can remember, they did beat each other up quite a lot in that match), Joe decides to just hand the title over to Kurt for no apparent reason other than SWERVE!

He is better at being a heel, just not a whiny stupid baby heel that TNA creative has turned him into.

Sting will still win the title at Bound for Glory (as he has done the last 3 years I believe) but hopefully that will be it for him in TNA. I think McMahon would be willing to give Sting a short term, not much travel shot in WWE...with hopefully an Undertaker Vs Sting match happening. (That is the mark in me)
